Experience (requirements):

  • 6 months to 1 year field work experience
  • Knowledge of electrical materials and descriptions
  • Knowledge of electrical tools
  • Own personal tools to perform tasks
  • State of Michigan Apprentice card or qualify to obtain one

Journeyman Electrician

4-6 years work experience in:

  • Residential wiring systems
  • Conduit bending
  • Site Lighting
  • Plan reading & execution
