Gene Butman Ford

Located in Ypsilanti, MI sits Gene Butman Ford. This beautiful dealership recieved a full electrical makeover with new LED pole lighting for the dealer lots. The new LED pole lights were professionally installed by the Truxell Electric team. The new lights are expected to pay for themselves as the old pole lights were outdated and energy inefficient.

Established in 1957, Gene Butman was the second dealership to open in the city of Ypsilanti. Named for its founder, Gene Butman Ford has remained a family-owned business with Ken Butman following his father as President in 1980. The dealership moved from Pearl Street to Washtenaw Avenue in 1965, and completely remodeled in 2002. Gene Butman employs 80 individuals, and offers a full line of cars, trucks and utilities. They have a complete state of the art service department as well as a well stocked parts department and body shop. Of their many awards, Gene Butman is most proud of having won the Ford Motor Company’s, prestigious President’s Award, based on customer satisfaction, Seven times.

Gene Butman has been a fixture in the Ypsilanti community since 1957. With numerous awards under our belt, it’s no wonder we’re serving second- and third-generation Ford families.

Our awards and honors include seven Ford Motor Company President’s Awards, a Hope Clinic Best Business Award, and the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award. We believe that customer satisfaction is our No. 1 priority, and we are focused on providing convenient, high-quality service while also quickly and efficiently helping you find the right vehicle.
